The texts of the council canons are taken from another website, but since I cannot imagine anyone but the Church to have copyright on them (and most of them beeing 500-1000 years old) I have have taken the liberty to copy and paste. This site's purpose is to make more accessible the canons of the Church. Maybe I'll add the Creeds of the councils of the Church at a later date, or maybe non-council but related texts/documents.
Since there prevails a custom and ancient tradition to the effect that the bishop of Aelia is to be honoured, let him be granted everything consequent upon this honour, saving the dignity proper to the metropolitan.
