The texts of the council canons are taken from another website, but since I cannot imagine anyone but the Church to have copyright on them (and most of them beeing 500-1000 years old) I have have taken the liberty to copy and paste. This site's purpose is to make more accessible the canons of the Church. Maybe I'll add the Creeds of the councils of the Church at a later date, or maybe non-council but related texts/documents.
Since there are some who kneel on Sunday and during the season of Pentecost, this holy synod decrees that, so that the same observances may be maintained in every diocese, one should offer one's prayers to the Lord standing.
